Thanks for the info on self-rising flour. Do you know how long milk is good for? When shopping the other day my local grocery store had milk on sale for $.50 per half gallon because it was expiring that day. I only bought one because I was not sure how long it could be expected to last.
You can actually freeze your milk! Right in the jug. Just leave a little room for expansion. Milk also my seperate and become grainy after thawing, which you need to thaw in the fridge. So this milk might be good to use for cooking purposes if it does that. And only freeze for about a month two at the most.
